A New Rickshaw​

After saving for a year, Sun Hong buys a new rickshaw. It’s bright red with shiny wheels and a comfortable seat. He polishes it every morning, proud to show it off to passengers. “This rickshaw is faster and easier to pull,” he says, grinning. Regular customers notice the difference and compliment him. With the new rickshaw, Sun can work longer hours without getting as tired. He even starts earning more money, which he plans to use to fix up his small house. “Hard work pays off,” Sun thinks as he pulls his new rickshaw through the streets.​
