Learning to Paint with Watercolors

Learning to paint with watercolors has been a colorful adventure. At first, I struggled—my colors mixed into a muddy brown, and my brushstrokes were messy. But my art teacher told me to be patient, so I kept practicing.
I started with simple things: a red apple, a yellow sun, a blue sky. Slowly, I learned to mix colors softly—pink from red and white, green from blue and yellow. My favorite painting so far is a picture of a sunset over the lake, with orange and purple clouds reflecting on the water. When I finished, I hung it on my bedroom wall. Learning to paint with watercolors taught me that mistakes are part of the process, and that beauty can come from taking time to create something with care.
